How to enter the boot menu, BIOS on Laptop model Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo

1. What is the boot menu, BIOS? What's the use?
The BOOT menu is a feature built into the laptop to help users control the process of starting the computer. By default, the computer will boot from the hard drive that contains the operating system. However, in some cases (win reinstall, data rescue,...), users will need to go to the BOOT menu and transfer the BOOT feature to a USB, external hard drive, or even DVD.
For example, if you understand, I have a USB Boot used to install WIN; when connected to a computer, of course, the system will not identify itself as a USB to install WIN. Therefore, we need to use the BOOT Menu and switch the BOOT status from hard drive to USB so that the computer can get the WIN installer on this USB stick.
BIOS stands for Basic Input/Output System, a set of commands stored on a firmware chip located on the computer's motherboard. Bios help control the basic features of the computer such as: Connecting and running drivers for peripherals (mouse, keyboard, ...), booting operating systems, displaying signals to the screen.

- Go to bios press ESC key
- Go to the boot menu, press the F2 key
BIOS menu, BOOT Laptop Acer:
- Go to the boot menu, press F12’s key
- Go to bios press F2 key
By default, the BOOT menu on the Acer laptop lines will be disabled; you must press F2 to access the BIOS menu, then activate the shortcut F12 BOOT.

3. How to Use the BOOT Menu
Step 1: After pressing the computer power button, you need to quickly press the shortcut guided above to access the BOOT Menu.
Step 2: At this point, it will display the BOOT Menu interface, usually blue or white with a black background. The other job is very simply to select the device name that you need BOOT (boot).
For example, I want to install WIN from USB, select the USB name to BOOT to the WIN installer. If you’re going to rescue data on your laptop via a rescue DVD, just click on the DVD drive name.
