How to create USB boot with Hiren's BootCD quickly
USB boot or USB install Win will be helpful when you forget the password. Windows needs to break the password to log on to the computer, reinstall Win, boot into the system to fix errors, recover Win. The USB is compact, very convenient to carry with you. If you are a regular computer user, you should create a pre-bootED USB to pull out when needed.
Creating a USB boot is not too difficult; there are currently many ways to make a USB boot with dozens of supporting software. However, Hiren's BootCD is a tool that is quite old and popular with technology people. Therefore, The Network Administrator has written a separate tutorial on creating a USB boot and creating a Win bootable USB using this Hiren's BootCD tool.
How to download Hiren's BootCD
Hiren's BootCD PE is a set of utilities installed on USB or DVD capable of boot that you can use to fix problems related to the existing installation of the Windows operating system. Hiren's BootCD PE runs on a version of Windows PE, designed to resolve issues but cannot be used as a complete installation of the operating system.
There are dozens of utilities in Hiren's BootCD package, including TeamViewer for remote access, Malwarebytes to remove malware and viruses, some disk and system image creation tools, and tools to recover files accidentally deleted.
To use Hiren's BootCD PE, you will need to download the ISO file, a disk image that you can use to boot your computer after recording to the drive.
After booting from the disk, you can use the built-in utilities to restore the installed operating system or block any possibility of recovery, use it to copy files from a damaged computer, erase the drive and reinstall Windows.
Hiren's BootCD PE is free to download, but it's important to note that Hiren no longer maintains this tool. There have been no official updates to the original software since 2012. Hiren's website says: "Hiren’s BootCD fans are developing hiren’s BootCD PE version. It includes free, best and developed updated tools to use in Hiren’s BootCD. This tool for new-age computers".
